  Thank you so much to all the parents and grandparents that attended our phonics afternoon today. We hope that you found it informative and that you enjoyed working alongside your children completing a phonics session. We loved sharing our learning with you.

  

• Christingle

  Key stage 2 led a Christingle celebration on the last day of term. The service was by candle light and included music, singing, reading and prayers as well as telling the story of Christingle to the parents and parish in church.

  

• Bird lady

  We welcomed The Bird lady to school on Thursday afternoon (January 5th) to show us some of the birds she looks after. The children all had time in the hall hearing about how the birds are looked after, what they eat and facts about each type of birds, including the 2 types of kestrel and owls she brought to show. They were beautiful and the children all enjoyed seeing and hearing about them. Take a look at the class webpages for more pictures as all the children held the birds themselves.
