Science Week Class 2

Children from Class 2 were thinking scientifically,  investigating rocks to see how hard they were, testing their permeability and then sorting them. They then went on to conduct an experiment to see if they could extract iron from breakfast cereal.

Bouncing Putty

Class 1 investigated from what bouncing putty was made. There were opportunities for questioning skills and hypothesizing. The children ensured fair testing took place. They went outside to test the putty, bouncing it around, investigating to see if making the putty into different shapes had any effect on the bounce.

The children in Reception conducted a variety of exciting experiments during science week.
