Year 6 Christian Ethos and values award

2022

This year the award went to Martha who was chosen by the staff and children for her personification of the school values. She has shown during her time at Cockerham to be a role model replicating the values we hold in school at our core in her daily life and to those around her. Her constant attitude of showing she can do all things through Christ who gives us strength, is one which others look to for guidance and strength with school. A real superstar!

During the Christian values revision parents commented:

I really appreciate the fact that the children are involved in making decisions about their school and future.... the stream lined values ....I don't think having fewer values takes anything away

I like the idea of focusing on a smaller number of values and the ones chosen will be great ones to promote.... the children will be more aware of what they are.
