We all enjoyed our trip to Lancaster Castle, The Police Museum and Lancaster City Museum. The children were fascinated to find out about the history of crime and punishment in Lancaster Castle and in Lancashire. We began learning a chronology of history focusing on the Romans and Anglo-Saxons in Britain. We even learnt some Anglo-Saxon words!
