What a day our school council, alongside 24 other schools, had this month in the village hall. We hosted an Aspirations Day with Lanes Vets; Lancaster and Morecambe College; Morecambe Bay curriculum, sports coaches; farming families from Cockerham School; St John's hospice; Farm machinery from Hoyles; Phil Halhead from Norbreck Genetics and Primary Futures presenters from the NHS. The day was a great success and the feedback from the schools was fab:

Brilliant organisation

It was brilliant! Thank you. So diverse. So interactive. Great use of community & schools coming together.

A lot of hard work for you guys, but it was worth it.  The children loved it. 

And the sun shone. Happy days!

The children got so much from it as there was a lot of variety, and it was action-packed.

We hope this will be the start of many more events to come.
