  This morning we had a visit from 'Bubby Beth' who talked to us all about water. Did you know 75% of the Earth's surface is water? Did you know dry ice is carbon dioxide? Do you know all the aspects of the water cycle? We do now!

  What a brilliant time we had exercising with Stuart! It's amazing how sweaty you can get after 4 circuits. The children did brilliantly. Well done to staff who took part as well. In our Worship Stuart explained some of the drills he uses to work on improving stamina and fitness. Our lovely EYFS and KS1 children were up to the challenge and our fabulous KS2 as well. Even the staff had a go! Stuart answered lots of questions the children had.

  

• Easter Egg competition

  Our Easter egg competition this year has yielded amazing entries from the children. This is a sample of the eggs we had come into school to be judged. The children from EYFS to Y6 brought in their entries for Michelle, a local resident and friend of school, to judge. She had a really hard time deciding who was going to take home the prizes.

  Well done to everyone who entered this year. You should be proud of your hard work, use of imagination and creativity.

  Thank you to the PTFA for donating the chocolate egg prizes. Thank you to staff who donated the sweetie prizes that went along with the eggs.

• Spring is here

  We are so blessed with our beautiful grounds. EYFS children announced in class this week that it was spring as the blossom was out on the trees. They planned adventures in the outdoor area car. I wonder where they will go?

  

• Patty's Barn whole school trip

  Our trip as a whole school was a great success. The children all had an amazing day together. Take a look at the photographs to see what we all got up to and the smiling faces of our wonderful children.

  Thank you to Patty's Barn for hosting us and Michelle for helping to organise this. We are looking forward to our next visit in the summer.
